Architect and Interior Designer
I was born in Erice (TP) in June 1988. I graduated in 2016 in Palermo with a thesis in architectural design and a year later I started my studio in Erice. Previously I collaborated with Mellusoarchitettura, with which I participated in numerous international design competitions and set up for exhibitions.
Since 2018 I have been supporting my professional practice with research, collaborating in the courses of Architectural Design I, V and Interior Architecture and Furniture of prof. Antonio Biancucci at the Department of Architecture of the University of Palermo.
My studio deals with architectural design at various scales: from interior architecture to landscape design, in the continuous research for a balance between the new and the existing. Contrary to the self-referentiality of architecture, I try to focus on the rituality of everyday life, assigning it adequate spaces and proportions. In June 2019 I took part in the IX edition of Architects meet in Selinunte and in the traveling exhibition “Progetti stesi, Città Sicilia”.
